These paintings reference magazine layouts, newspaper spreads, and editorial design—where deliberate composition coexists with layered, intuitive mark-making.

Each work begins a planned framework that is gradually softened through solvent reduction, texture, and repeated revisions. While the compositions suggest order and repetition, the surfaces retain evidence of process, change, and decision—much like a printed page shaped by both design and chance.
